Postpartum Support

The role of Jamie’s postpartum
support includes:

offering education, companionship and nonjudgmental support during the postpartum fourth trimester
assisting with newborn care, family adjustment, meal preparation and light household tidying
providing evidence-based information on infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from birth, infant soothing and coping skills for new parents and makes appropriate referrals when necessary

Jamie's daytime fee is $40/hour (minimum of four hours)
Jamie's overnight fee is $285 (8 hours) / $320 (9 hours)
Jamie's fee for twin support is $45 daytime hourly fee and $335 overnight fee

Jamie came to our family on recommendation of our doula. Jamie worked with us for the six weeks following our son's birth and as we were preparing to move across the country. Our little guy wasn't a great sleeper, so we hired Jamie to do one overnight with us a week. This support provided us with some wonderful respite from the sleepless nights. Jamie also provided daytime help, taking care of our son so that we could work or prepare for our move. She was always happy to help out around the house while our son was sleeping. Our baby was delighted with Jamie—whether she was singing him songs, taking him on walks, or putting him back down at night, she always treated him with great care.
